Electric transformers on their way to the top
Many users utilize electronic transformers not only for safety reasons.
Transformers are mostly located behind the casing and are thus hardly accessible. This is why transformers particularly need to prove reliable and safe. The safety aspect, as well, is highly emphasized at transformers.
Conventional transformers produced the secondary voltage via a normal winding. The new, electronic transformers can do without this winding and produce the secondary voltage (mostly 12 V) via electronic components. The warming of electric transformers was reduced to a minimum and the reliability was enormously increased, as only electronical components are being used.
